Dr. Ian Lytle’s surgical skills include plastic surgery for the body, breast and
face. He has a special interest in reconstructive surgery following trauma, including
severe burns and disfiguring illnesses. His goal is to use his cosmetic and reconstructive
expertise to improve the quality of life for his patients.
After receiving his medical degree from Wayne State University, Dr. Lytle began
his training in general surgery at University Hospital at the University of Cincinnati.
He returned to Michigan for his residency training and plastic surgery research
fellowship, both at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Lytle obtained a second major from Alma College
in Fine Arts. His focus was life studies, which highlighted the human form. Dr.
Lytle has an appreciation for fine art and enjoys painting and sculpting in his
free time. He brings his artistic talent to the operating room and believes an eye
for aesthetics enhances his surgical abilities.
Dr. Lytle and his wife, Dr. Marija Grahovac, reside in Franklin and are lifelong residents of Southeastern Michigan. Her obstetrics and gynecology practice is located at Oakwood Hospital, where Dr. Lytle also sees patients.
