By its very nature, cosmetic surgery is a delicate and exacting medical specialty requiring years of training and experience to achieve proficiency. Today, however, certain cosmetic procedures are being performed by physicians not specifically trained in plastic surgery.
Our physicians are all board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This means that they have completed a residency in general and plastic surgery and have passed rigorous written and oral board examinations.
Your choice of a qualified, experienced physician is an important decision in the overall success of your surgery. Your surgeon should be well-trained, properly credentialed, experienced in the procedure you are considering, and highly regarded by patients and colleagues.
