Kristen is a registered nurse who has an extensive background in the field of aesthetics. Starting off her journey through aesthetics, she lived in Toronto, Canada studying abroad at one of the top makeup colleges in North America. She became certified in all seven disciplines of makeup developing skills ranging from camouflage and everyday makeup to special effects and prosthetics. When she returned to the states, she furthered her career by graduating from Douglas J Aveda school of esthetics.
As a licensed aesthetician, Kristen has worked for some of the top plastic surgeons in Michigan. While doing so, she traveled to Boston and became a certified laser technician who has received extensive, specialized training in laser hair removal, IPL photofacials, tattoo removal, radiofrequency and laser skin tightening, laser resurfacing, microneedling, and Coolsculpting fat reduction.
Kristen is also a clinical trainer who travels throughout North America to train physicians and aesthetic providers on surgical and non-surgical devices. She has been with the Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the past five years and excels in providing patients with the highest quality care, experience, and benefited results.Read Reviews
Brittany Hourigan is a licensed aesthetician in the state of Michigan and has almost 10 years of experience in the esthetics field, including three years as a Lead Educator of Estiology at the Douglas J Aveda Institute.
Brittany specializes in the following treatments: pigmentation, aging skin, rosacea, and acne. She combines various medical-grade skin care products along with progressive aesthetic treatments to address these concerns. She works collaboratively with cosmetic and reconstructive surgeons to help achieve optimal results.

Heather is a laser certified technician and a laser safety officer. She graduated from the National Laser Institute in Chicago, Illinois. She specializes in anti-aging treatments including BBL Forever Clear (also known as IPL Photofacials) for pigmentation and rosacea as well as BBL Forever Clear for acne. Heather also specializes in laser hair removal and CoolSculpting Fat Reduction treatments.
Lisa is a board-certified Physician Assistant who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Masters of Science degree. She has over 20 years of experience treating patients in the medical field. She has provided aesthetic enhancement procedures for over 8 years. She has specialty certifications for neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and advanced laser treatments.
She earned her level 4 certification in aesthetic enhancements in 2010. Lisa is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan Association of Physician Assistants.Read Reviews
Patty Kutcher earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and became a registered nurse in 1987. She began working as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before moving to Michigan one year later. She worked in the NICU at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, but shortly after, transferred to the Operating Room where she began training as a surgical nurse in Cardiothoracic, Urology, and General Surgery.
In 1990, she started working in Ann Arbor for the Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for Dr. Robert Oneal. She fell in love with the service and has been practicing with these doctors ever since. She has seen a lot of advances in plastic surgery through the years. She is happy to share her knowledge of surgical procedures and intervention and how it relates to her new role as an injector with the Aesthetics aspect of our practice.
Being well rounded and knowledgeable about all aspects of Plastic Surgery will enhance Patty’s connection with our patients and give them the ultimate experience with whatever route they choose.
Meghan Wyscaver earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University in 2015. She started her nursing career immediately after graduation at Mott Children’s Hospital in the pediatric ER and has been working there for the past five years.
Before nursing Meghan obtained a degree in design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA and moved home after graduating. She spent three years as a pastry chef at the Gandy Dancer in Ann Arbor and decorated cakes during nursing school. She has a genuine love for art, beauty, design, fashion, skincare, and health in general which is how she found herself interested in Aesthetic Nursing.
Meghan is a certified nurse injector and started at The Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2020. She thoroughly enjoys working with clients to make them feel and look their best and strives to enhance their natural beauty and help to deliver a more youthful appearance.
Kathy Forbes has been a team member at the Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery since 2013. Her roles at the practice include Medical Office Assistant, Patient Representative, Med Spa Receptionist, and Certified CoolSculpting® Specialist. Kathy demonstrates her strong interpersonal and organizational skills on a daily basis as she effortlessly moves between her various responsibilities.
In 2009, Kathy received her Administrative Assistant Certificate from Washtenaw Community College. She went on to complete her certificate as a Medical Office Assistant in 2008 and received her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science with honors in 2011. “I love working in an environment where I can utilize my medical skills in an aesthetic setting. My daily interaction with both our surgical and Med Spa patients is the best part of my job,” she says.
Kathy was initially trained as a Certified CoolSculpting® Specialist in 2016 and graduated from CoolSculpting® University in 2017 and the CoolSculpting University Clinical Masters Program in 2018, where she learned the most up-to-date techniques and technology for non-surgical fat reduction. Her CoolSculpting® patients are always happy to see her since she is knowledgeable and professional and thoughtfully guides them through the process.Back to Top
